The New Balance 1000’s Futurist Appeal Balanced By “Vintage Indigo”

We’re just beyond one year in the New Balance 1000‘s reintroduction into market. Following a formula of strong in-line colorways and select collaborative projects, the silhouette still remains as one of the more intelligent choices for those still entrenched in the Y2K-meets-tech runner aesthetic.

Already dis playing in a wide variety of impressive in-line colorways, the New Balance 1000 is ready for its second year with an even stronger assortment. Just recently, we revealed a new “Arid Stone” colorway of the silhouette; turns out, it’s joined by a “Vintage Indigo” hue as part of a short-burst wave of matte metallic colorways typically found in suede get-ups. This distinct and attractive shade of blue is then matched with a silver base and touches of Peach Nectar on the logo hits to complete that perfect retro runner look.

NewBalance.com and partnering retailers will be stocking these soon for $150; see a first look ahead.
