With “Triple White” always readily available, the Nike Air Force 1 has probably seen more customization projects that any sneaker ever. For our purposes, that includes plenty of knock-offs featuring prints by Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and perhaps most commonly, Burberry. In putting an official stamp on an often-replicated style, Nike is releasing an Air Force 1 featuring a plaid pattern reminiscent of the British fashion house.
A brown plaid quarter headlines the upper, complemented by a custom gold lace dubrae featuring a red Swoosh and blue/tan plaid pattern. Red stenciling is utilized on the tongue branding, while the backtab features outlined “Nike” text in a collegiate font. Zooming in, the sneaker comes with white laces that are a touch slimmer/more silky than usual. The Swoosh and backtab are cut from white leather, while contemporary “Sail” lands on the remaining panels.
The “Brown Plaid” Air Force 1 doesn’t have a firm release date or MSRP yet, but we’ll update this article as soon as pairs become available online. For now, enjoy official images.
Elsewhere in Nikeland, check out the Kobe 6 “Dodgers” releasing May 30th.
