Debuted with the “Dockside” colorway and a duo of KITH editions, the New Balance 2010 adds to the brand’s stable of throwback runners, said to utilize a segmented midsole design a la many fan-favorite NB designs. Visible ABZRB cushioning underfoot and a diamond-knit mesh upper are the model’s biggest innovations, while the layered, curvilinear suede overlays connect well to models like the 2002R or 9060.
For this pair specifically, the “Grey Days” energy is felt throughout the upper, contrasted well by a buttery, faux-aged midsole. Pops of light blue at the heel and tongue help to add some vibrant tonality, pairign well with the steel gre shades that define the mesh foundation.
