The energy behind Nike road running is back in a big way. With the Pegasus Premium living up to the hype around it in its early days, the brand’s other categories are beginning to build up their product families, now bolstered by the Nike Vomero Plus.
The structure of the Vomero Plus is largely apparent at first blush, embracing a lightweight build up top with flexible engineered mesh and no-sew uppers that visually enhance the airy composition. Underfoot, things take on a more bulky appearance, piling on ZoomX foam for the highest shoe in the Vomero lineage to date. While it’s unclear whether ReactX from the Vomero 18 will linger in this build, perhaps other shoes in the Nike catalog will be informative: the Pegasus Plus slipped out of the Air Zoom from the Pegasus 41 for an all-Zoom X package.

It’s another application of the three-pronged release strategy for Nike running silhouettes, Structure for “supportive cushioning,” Pegasus for “Responsive Cushioning,” and Vomero for “Maximum Cushioning.” Within each product line, an “icon,” “plus,” and “premium” build spread out across multiple price points. Add all of that together and it’s only fair that the Vomero Plus boasts this ultra-high, pillowy stack, set to be a frequent sight on store shelves and possibly roads near you.
A concrete release date for the Nike Vomero Plus isn’t clear at the time of this writing, but a healthy number of colorways continue to trickle out. Catch images of a new set included below, to be updated with direct pick-up links upon arrival.
