The starting point for this design aligns well with what we saw on that inaugural two-pack, holding onto a sensible mix of wide white mesh, chrome overlays, and jet-black detailing. In the closing details, the brand pushes the slightest bit out of their comfort zone, relying on “Ice Blue” trim seen in these teaser shots on the liner, painting select pieces of the traction, and coating exposed GEL units in the sole. JJJJound slides their name in the place of typical ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 branding to round things out, though perhaps they’ll reveal some bigger aesthetic surprises as the rollout continues.
