The Lakers got bounced by the Timberwolves in the first round of the NBA playoffs, meaning we’ve seen the last of Luka Dončić shoes on hardwood for the 2024-25 season (at least on Luka’s feet). While we can’t help but wonder if Jordan Brand prepared special Luka 4 styles for a potential deep run, fans still have lots to look forward to. For our purposes, the model is continuing its rollout with the “Gone Fishing” colorway on May 15th, presented here via official images.
Focus is heightened on the model’s defining quality; a series of rippling ovals that encompass the lateral side. Shades of pink, light green, and orange provide cohesion between the midsole and textile upper, complemented by a grey toe box and black on the tongue/heel/lining. The design plays off two references, the main one being Luka’s love for fishing, boating, and getting outdoors in general. As such, Luka’s signature logo is altered to look like two mingling fish. The other inspiration, while rather ironic given recent events, is sending opponents packing after playoff losses. On the performance side of things, the Luka 4 stands out with Cushlon 3.0 and Zoom Air cushioning as well as an isoPlate system for support.
The Jordan Luka 4 “Gone Fishing” is scheduled to release May 15th via nike.com and Nike Basketball retailers, available in men’s ($140) and GS sizes ($110). Enjoy official images below and visit our Jordan Release Dates 2025 page to browse other upcoming hoops shoes.
