In an era when consumers are as willing to accept abstract footwear as ever. Given that, the mashup aesthetics of the Jordan Trunner should sit well with the public upon its return. It certainly doesn’t hurt that the colorway options revealed to this point have been impressive, once again the case with the Jordan Trunner “Light Orewood Brown.”
Tapping into the trendy neutral tones that are inescapable in modern footwear, the Trunner paints this “Light Orewood Brown” across the entirety of its mesh base layer, utilizing black contrast in the elevated sections: its rubber toe-cap, quilted midfoot swatch and a variety of minor detailing like the pull-tabs and security strap under the collar.
While this may be the perfect moment to reintroduce the silhouette, note that the Jumpman has flirted with a Trunner comeback plenty in recent years, last delivering an earnest bring-back in 2017, further extended into the introduction of the Zoom Trunner Ultimate and Trunner Advance. In similar fashion, as the slip-on model enters the fray anew, the Trunner vertical will be expanding alongside the OG: the Trunner O/S is also expected to debut towards the end of the year.
The Jordan Trunner LX “Light Orewood Brown” is expected to land in time for Fall 2025, retailing at $140. Watch our Jordan Release Dates 2025 hub for the latest info on when exactly to expect this model to kick off again.
