We’ve got plenty of Jordan releases to check off before the 4th of July, but it appears the Jumpman is already feeling patriotic. While Nike mints a “USA” Air Max 90, the Air Jordan 1 Mid has surfaced in a red, white, and blue colorway of its own.
Doing away with traditional color blocking, the upper features “Deep Royal Blue” on the toe, lining, laces, and branded elements. The toe box and heel round out a patriotic vibe in “University Red,” while the quarter and collar flaps clean up in white leather. The tongue, collar underlays, and eyelets break from flag colors in “Neutral Grey,” as does a “Sail” midsole. While the sneaker’s “USA” aesthetic is straight-forward, there’s also a Jordan 1 Rare Air comparison to be made due. The Jordan 1 Mid features basically the same palette but with different color blocking (and no wear-away Swoosh).
The Air Jordan 1 Mid “USA” should release soon via nike.com in men’s sizing. Budget for a $125 retail price if you’re considering copping.
