We’ve surely said it before, but at times it feels like it’d be quicker to list off iconic media franchises that haven’t crossed paths with Crocs at some point. Disney is assuredly in contention for the clogs company’s most reliable, planting visages of many of its most iconic characters on the brand’s complete range of models. For their latest, it’s a return to basic and a step back in time, calling up the time-tested Winnie the Pooh franchise for the Eeyore Crocs, expected to hit shelves soon.
At the height of Salehe Bembury bringing the Crocs street validity with his Pollex series, the Colorado company notched off a conventional, youth-focused collab with the inaugural Winnie The Pooh Classic Clog in 2022, exclusive to kids sizing. Returning to the prompt three years later, we get a faithful adaptation of Hundred Acre Woods’ most melancholic resident, with the donkey’s face plastered comprehensively across the toe-box. Likely most attention-grabbing for the younger set, 3D adaptation of his hair and fuzzy ears sit right below the “collar,” with a circular emblem of his cartoon appearance anchoring the “sport strap.”
Though the donkey and bear have already been chalked off, there remains a bountiful cast of characters to pull from if this collab continues: Tigger, Kanga & Roo, and Piglet present suitable options to get in on this capsule. For now, look for the Eeyore Crocs to drop sometime in the coming weeks, carrying the usual $70 retail pricing in adult unisex sizing.
