After posting steep revenue declines last year, Converse is hoping to right the ship in 2025. While a huge part of the Nike brand’s trajectory hinges on the Converse SHAI 001, collaborations appear to be the play for stirring up energy in the lifestyle vertical. Following recent projects by Tyler, The Creator and Ader Error among others is French fashion house KENZO, set to release a Converse Chuck 70 capsule in April.
Three sneakers make up the collaboration; two Lows and one High. Lending a feminine aesthetic suitable for spring and summer fashion, the first Chuck 70 Low (or “Ox”) features a washed, tie-dye pink canvas upper. KENZO’s prominent Boke Flower motif appears as an added keychain, matched by an oversized red graphic over a brown gum outsole. KENZO branding replaces Converse text on the black rubber heel rectangle, while co-branded insoles round out the design. The other Low features the same branded touches but with camo-like green canvas, while the High comes with hazy black and yellow polka dots.
The KENZO x Converse Chuck 70 capsule releases April 17th through the Converse website, priced at $140 for the High and $130 for the Lows. See official images below and visit our Sneaker Release Dates page to browse other upcoming collaborations.
