The massively popular silhouette makes for a fitting inclusion.

Nike Enters The GT Cut 3 Into The “CHBL” Slate

N7, EYBL, Kay Yow — Nike’s release calendar is loaded with a host of yearly release themes that drop off limited makeups of spotlighted models. With Beaverton’s focus on the global game of basketball only increasing as time goes on, the “CHBL” is making a strong case for earnest inclusion in that group. With the Book 1 “CHBL” and Kobe 4 “CHBL” entering the 2025 crop in recent weeks, the capsule comes into further view with the Nike GT Cut 3 “CHBL” featured here.

Having seen those two aforementioned entrants, gradients clearly stand as the central design theme at play with this year’s collection. For the GT Cut 3, that manifests with a classically styled ombre between navy and bright red, primarily playing out on the Swoosh but also influencing double-layered embroidered branding on the tongue and alternating logos on the heel of each shoe. The mismatch theme further influences the outsole traction pods and the subtle speckling on the midsoles, each moved up in this shoe’s hierarchy by the pristine white base that paces all of these pieces of detailing.

The Nike GT Cut 3 “CHBL” will be a China exclusive release, likely distributed through local retailers and the global NDC site in the coming weeks. Even if you’ll be region-locked from this release, there’s still plenty to chew on from afar — check out the official images included below.
