Up Close With The Fragment Design Union Air Jordan 1

Updated April 4th, 2025: A new detailed look at the fragment Union Jordan 1 has been revealed via on-foot images.

One of the most anticipated sneaker releases of 2026 has been revealed: The massive three-party collaboration known as the Fragment Union Air Jordan 1 has been revealed for the first time, displaying some key design details of this shocking project involving Hiroshi Fujiwara’s fragment design, Chris Gibbs’  Union LA, and Jordan Brand.

Photos shared by @fk.llc reveal this massive three-way collab with some familiar colors and touches. First off, it appears that the Black/Royal/White colorway from the original fragment design Air Jordan 1 will be in use with near-identical color-blocking. The double-bolt logo appears in its customary position at the heel, indented into the leather.

Where Union comes in is via the signature two-in-one styling in which two colorways are combined into one, bonded by exterior university blue stitching. These Fragment Union Jordan 1s, however, does not loop in a different colorway up top, but rather remains consistent with the same royal blue on black collar. The tongue features that uniqueness as the black portion is removed in favor of aged nylon with exposed tongues. The oversized Wings logo on the ankle is another Union specialty. The outsoles remain all-white with the technical lettering appearing on the medial side, which mentions Chris, Hiroshi, and SP26.

Currently, a release is expected in early 2026; stay tuned for more on our Jordan Release Dates page. Additionally, a second “Friends And Family” version is in the works, according to MrUnloved1s.
