Andrew Rizzo With the Tokyo and Boston marathons now in the rear-view mirror, all running-obsessed eyes are on London ahead of race day in late April. The Nike AlphaFly 3 will be a common sight among runners and spectators alike, now presented in a flashy new women’s colorway.
The marathon-winning sneaker stands out with a “Dusty Amethyst/Glacier Blue” gradient underfoot, complemented by a fiery splotch or red within the forefoot Air unit. The same red shade appears on the Flyknit within a distressed “Off Noir” Swoosh, making additional cameos on the tongue and insoles. Soothing “Coconut Milk” wraps the rest of the sneaker, moving from the Flyknit down to the front portion of the midsole.
