There’s a new tenant at 21 Mercer Street in New York City. Streetwear and sneaker legend Jeff Staple, best know for his riot-inducing “Pigeon” Nike SB Dunk collaboration, is opening his first-ever physical store at the address made famous by the Beaverton brand.
To the uninitiated; 21 Mercer was the site of NikeLab from 2008-2023. It hosted A-list parties and hot releases like the Galaxy Foams and Air Yeezys, and most notably, it was a place where visitors could create premium, bespoke sneakers for sky-high prices.
As of today, 21 Mercer Street is the flagship location for Jeff Staple’s streetwear brand. Signature apparel and accessories will be available alongside curated products by other labels.
The grand opening celebration is going down on March 13th from 6-9 PM, featuring appearances by Jeff Staple, collaboration guru Bimma Williams, and performances by Va$htie and DJ Shu G. The opening coincides with the release of the Brooks x STAPLE Adrenaline 4 GTS, which is currently available now via the Brooks website.
