A first look leaked during the brand's recent earnings call.

adidas Reveals A First Look At The Anthony Edwards 2

There’s no question that a lot is riding on the future of Anthony Edwards shoes. There’s a high level of scrutiny around the adidas Anthony Edwards 2 largely due to the massive success that was the AE1. For nearly a year, samples of adidas hoops models bearing Anthony Edwards’ logo have spilled out from the usual sources; adidas itself has come forward to denounce these unauthorized leaks in the comments section, quelling any anxiety of what may be the most anticipated signature shoe sequel since the coming of Jordan.

We finally have a true course mapped out regarding the AE2. During a recent earnings call, adidas leaked a first image of what may be Anthony Edwards 2; this image captured by Brendan Dunne of Complex is a screenshot from the live webcast. While it is not outright labeled as the Anthony Edwards 2, Complex deduces that the sneaker in question is in fact the second model.

Based on our own information regarding upcoming adidas FW25 product, this is indeed the Anthony Edwards 2; the colorway pictured is the launch edition set to debut in October.

adidas has yet to make any official announcement regarding the Anthony Edwards 2. Furthermore, we are far from done with the current model as Anthony Edwards 1 releases are currently scheduled in at least through July 2025.
