While the centerpiece of All-Star Weekend may have been a letdown, there were some notable highlights outside of Sunday. The high point in that regard was Mac McClung’s performance at the 2025 Dunk Contest, providing some windfall for the Orlando Magic high-flyer and his sneaker sponsor, PUMA.
For his record-setting third straight Dunk Contest crown, the Orlando Magic sensation laced up the PUMA All-Pro Elite, eschewing any player-exclusive flair for a hi-visibility “Color Tie” version. It also marked the third competition in which the German giant’s footwear was on display, with PUMA inking Mac to a long-term deal just before his Dunk Contest debut in 2023.
While audiences continue to laud how the Texas Tech product revived the contest, it does appear that his time in the spotlight may be at its end. In the lead-up to All-Star Weekend, he reported that 2025 would be his last. However, perhaps his continuing success will change his mind; Giannis Antetokounmpo and Ja Morant each teased their interest in joining next year’s slate, a proposition that caused McClung to double back on his initial feelings.

Though PUMA’s bet paid off in the end, note that each contestant brought some heat for their performance. The Bulls’ Matas Buzelis packed four PE colorways of the Reebok Engine (though he only debuted one), the Bucks’ Andre Jackson laced up the adidas Harden Vol. 9, and McClung’s final opponent, Stephon Castile, sported an exclusive edition of the Air Jordan 39.
Getting your hands on a KIA K5 to replicate what’ll surely go down as Mac McClung’s most iconic dunk may be a trickier proposition, you can easily grab his exact pair of the PUMA All-Pro Elite. The “Color Tie” pair is available now via PUMA.com, retailing for $130. Check your size via the “Where To Buy” links embedded below.
