The Nike Air Force 1 Wears Contrast Stitch Detailing

Fall flair for this Spring pair.

The Nike Air Force 1 Wears Contrast Stitch Detailing

While outsized production numbers have unquestionably dented the appeal of the Nike Dunk and similar silos, nothing can shake the Nike Air Force 1 off of its perch of streetwear influence. Still, to ensure that the myriad of colorways Beaverton lets loose each season actually move, Swoosh designers have seemingly ramped up how many experimental looks we’ve seen in recent months, expanding further with the Air Force 1 “Contrast Stitch” featured today.

The cel-shaded look has been explored plenty before (Joshua Vides would go on to make it into a signature style), outlining each panel with jet black trim. Notably, though, many of the previous iterations have planted that stealthy accenting onto pure white adornments, making the “Light Khaki” foundation here somewhat novel. On top of serving up a fresh pantone, it makes this colorway a bit more trendy in the process, meeting the neutral-toned footwear world along with the “Contrast Stitch” concept.

Look for the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Contrast Stitch” on store shelves this Spring season, retailing at the usual AF1 price tag of $125. Our Sneaker Release Dates page will house further updates on this pair as they come.
