Union x Air Jordan 1 Releasing February 28th

Off the heels of Union Los Angeles recently opening up a microsite for their upcoming Air Jordan 1 project, a release date as well as official imagery of this collaboration has been revealed. Read on to learn more about the upcoming Union Air Jordan 1.

A third iteration of their outstanding 2018 collaboration which stitched together two original colorways of the Air Jordan 1 in a purposeful hand-made aesthetic with pre-aged touches, the Union Jordan 1 returns bearing the lower-half of the iconic “Chicago” colorway with the upper ankle half featuring the “Shadow”. The two entities are bonded together via a visible University Blue stitching that circumvents the entire ankle.

The previous two installments bridged the “Black Toe” with the “Neutral Grey”, while the alternate pair featured the “Storm Blue” and “Bred”. Following that same formula, Union Los Angeles has concocted one of the most coveted sneakers early into 2025. Upon its first run nearly seven years ago, the Union Jordan 1 was widely regarded as one of the best sneakers of the year and influential in the “vintage” aesthetic movement.

While Union has yet to make an official announcement on the project outside of their microsite, a Friends & Family invite-only release went out on February 8th, 2025. As for a wider release date, currently the expected date is February 28th, 2025. The shoes will be available exclusively through Union Los Angeles; SNKRS release info has not yet been shared.
