There’s no way around it: the Nike Pegasus 2k5 hasn’t caught on the way that the Vomero 5 has. However, even if it doesn’t have the same everyday cache, Nike isn’t slowing down in pushing the model for 2025, be that through new looks for the model itself or renewed energy behind the Pegasus Wave. Yet if the techy lean of most colorways before didn’t entirely speak to you, Beaverton is answering with the “Baroque Brown” edition that just emerged.

Largely eschewing the traditional metallic chrome hits that usually define shoes in this category, instead a bronze “Baroque Brown” is in focus on the overlays and quarter cage, additionally tinting the mesh foundation that sits below. Yes, silver tonality still makes its presence felt on the midfoot mini-Swoosh, but overall this is a turn away from sheer performance aesthetics and towards something more refined.

The Nike Air Pegasus 2k5 “Baroque Brown” will likely come about during the Spring 2025 season, carrying the silo’s standard $150 MSRP.
