It’s been tough sledding for the Orlando Magic as of late, but that’s been in spite of Paolo Banchero’s efforts, clearing the 20-point mark in all but one of his games since returning from injury. As one of the four young faces of Jordan Brand alongside Jayson Tatum, Luka Doncic and Zion Williamson, that’s certainly welcome news for the Jumpman, utilizing the fortuitous timing to roll out the first piece of public product bearing his name.
Nearly without fail, Banchero has laced up the Air Jordan 39 during in-game action, but Beaverton is instead leveraging his name to place the Jordan Heir in the spotlight. Put forth as the brand’s first women-led silhouette, utilizing the Magic standout to show off its unisex potential is cogent. In return, #5 foregrounds his AAU upbringing, placing the Seattle Rotary logo on the tongue’s interior and dotting the profile with the team’s light blue and volt green color palette.
For the uninitiated, much of Banchero’s early hoops career was spent with the Rotary Style AAU squad, a program local to his hometown of Seattle. On top of it’s something of a full circle in and of itself, stepping back to “where it all began” as he enjoys life as a Jordan athlete and a rising face of the league, but also pays off one of his first major moves under the Jumpman. He gifted Luka 1 PEs to the current crop of talent back in 2023, now widening the scope of those efforts to the public.
The Jordan Heir “Seattle Rotary” is expected in the coming weeks, retailing for $110. Keep our Jordan Release Dates hub close by for additional updates.
