One of the year’s biggest releases is finally here. Amid a 12 month span that’s brought the premiere of not one but two signature shoes in the Zoom Field Jaxx and Jordan Jumpman Jack, Travis Scott’s biggest impact in 2024 may have still come via the Air Jordan 1 Low. If that idea is still in the balance for you, December 21st will be a major inflection point, with La Flame capping off another year as a titanic mover in footwear with the Travis Scott Jordan 1 Low “Velvet Brown.
Now revealed through official images, the shoe remains as we understood it, an all-over tonal execution of the “Mocha”-like hues that’ve graced his footwear discography for almost half a decade. However, these detailed product shots do confirm the return of many of the rapper’s typical peripherals: smiley face paper inserts, crossed Cactus Jack branding on the tongue, reversed spell-out text on the insoles to match the indomitable Reverse Swoosh.
Those who have tried (successful or otherwise) for previous Travis Scott shoes probably know the launch cadence like the back of their hands by now, but for those who haven’t: the Travis Scott Jordan 1 Low “Velvet Brown” is queued up for an official release on December 21st. A TravisScott.com drop will almost assuredly precede the Nike one by a few days, with a password page opening up followed by a raffle.
Regardless of which channel you attempt through, be ready for the following price breakdown: adults ($160), preschool ($60) and toddler’s ($50). Catch the full suite of official images of each size run included below — keep an eye on our coverage in general and our Jordan Release Dates page for further updates.
