The Nike SB archive is rife with unofficial Dunk collaborations, and while we’re all familiar with grails like the “Heineken” and “Freddy Krueger,” there are likely countless others that never managed to hit production lines at scale. Sneaker resellers @cashkicksny and @casa_soles managed to hunt down a deadstock sample pair inspired by OFF! bug spray; reportedly one of just three in existence.
Per Sneaker Freaker’s Ultimate Sneaker Book, these were supposed to release around the same time as the “Mosquito” SB Dunk in 2008. The shoe closely resembles OFF! spray cans with vibrant pops of green, yellow, and orange, with the materials still holding up strongly sixteen years later. There isn’t any OFF! branding or any specific insect-inspired touches, but the insoles feature an orange-on-yellow pattern of the foot’s main pressure points.
If you’re among the most dedicated and affluent Nike SB heads, this “OFF!” SB Dunk can be had for a cool $35,000. The sample is in deadstock condition and runs in a US size 9. See detailed images below if you’re thinking of throwing some cash around.
