Devin Booker got it from his father, and took it to the next level. Now, he’s returning the favor to pops his very own Nike Book 1 PE.
Melvin Booker aka Big Book was in attendance at the November 4th game between the Suns and the Sixers, hitting the arena with his very own PE colorway of his son’s first signature shoe. The design is inspired by his time at the University of Missouri, where Big Book earned some high achievements including 1994 Big Eight Player Of The Year and 1994 First Team All-American honors.
Following his outstanding college career in Missouri, the elder Booker even made it to the NBA ranks in short stints from 1995 through 1997.
The MIZZOU BOOK 1 PE features the official black and gold colorways of Missouri, complete with the school’s paw-shaped emblem at the heel. “BOOK” is written on the tongue label in white.
Booker’s recent run of PEs have been nothing short of amazing; he recently wore the all-purple pair inspired by his 2018 Zoom Kobe 1 Protro PE as well as a USC Trojans edition during a recent game in Southern California.
