Hybrid Jordan models remain a pain point in sneaker discourse, but reliable consumer demand means Jordan Brand releases new ones on a consistent basis. One of the newest members of that group is the Jordan Jumpman MVP (nee Jordan MVP 678), first hitting the shelves in 2023. Don’t call it a comeback, but after a quiet period during the summer months, new colorways of the mashup silhouette are emerging once again.

In contrast to shoes like the Spizike Low or 6 Rings that aim at seamlessly blending true Air Jordans, the Jumpman MVP allows you to see the seams in its designs a bit more clearly. Look towards the midfoot to see the jagged intersection between the Jordan 7 eyestays and the Jordan 6 quarter panel, or at the heel between those two model’s rear designs and the additional ribbed construction of the Jordan 8.
