First Look At The Fragment Design x Nike Zoom Spiridon

One of Nike's biggest names helps jumpstart the retro effort.

First Look At The Fragment Design x Nike Zoom Spiridon

As both a member of the vaunted HTM trio and as the “godfather of streetwear,” Hiroshi Fujiwara’s footwear influence is immutable. His Fragment Design and Nike have charted arguably the defining collaborative partnership in footwear, and though applied in more meted fashion in recent years, that shared history is imbued in each passing drop. As we careen towards the Zoom Spiridon retro tipped off in the Holiday SNKRS preview, Beaverton is tabbing Fujiwara for a collab edition.

The retro runner taps into the unassailable Fragment palette, printing trademark Navy on the Swoosh atop a palatable base of white & black. While the OG construction of the Spiridon remains, a retro Zoom Air / Fragment pattern paints the sole underfoot, with the same co-branding maintained with embroidery on the tongue and a special insole. Most notable, Fragment’s industrial text calling card moves from the midsole, its usual landing spot on previous collaborations, directly onto the Swoosh for this shoe.

It’s worth noting that this isn’t the first Fragment Zoom Spiridon drop we’ve caught wind of. An all-navy edition hit the newswire  in Fall of 2023. That shoe essentially hasn’t been heard from sense, leaving it uncertain whether that was simply a leaked early sample of this project, or an alternate colorway that may still be on the docket.

We can report that this edition of the Fragment Zoom Spiridon is coming this Holiday season in men’s sizing. Further release info is unclear at the time of writing, but get a preview of what to expect with the images ahead. Keep an eye on our Sneaker Release Dates hub for any additional updates.
