Nike Dips The Air Max 2013 In “Metallic Cool Grey” For Holiday 2024

Y2K aesthetics land gently on the early 2010s model.

Nike Dips The Air Max 2013 In “Metallic Cool Grey” For Holiday 2024

The Nike Air Max 2013 is largely thought of as one of the most underrated Air Max shoes there is. The model didn’t get much run when it debuted in the early 2010s, pulled off shelves to make space for the Flyknit Air Max, but its gotten ample shine since Stüssy helped re-introduce it in 2022. Leaning further into chromatic applications, the Beaverton brand is touching down with a fresh “Metallic Cool Grey” colorway for Holiday 2024.

The Air Max 2013 isn’t as privy to flashy metallic colorways as the Vomero 5, the brand’s foremost retro running style, but we’re slowly starting to see designers bring such Y2K aesthetics to the model. Much like a silver and gold colorway that made rounds back in June, this latest pair comes with “Metallic Cool Grey” treatments near the eyelets, forefoot, and toe. The rear of the shoe, meanwhile, adds tasteful balance in a slightly darker “Metallic Dark Grey” shade. Otherwise, the tongue, lining, and midsole polish off the delivery in “Anthracite.”

Interested buyers will have a chance to cop the Air Max 2013 “Metallic Cool Grey/Metallic Dark Grey/Anthracite” during the Holiday 2024 shopping season for $170; the model’s typical price point.
