Original article published August 13, 2024: Before the year even tips off, 2025 is set to be one of the most groundbreaking years in sneaker history. With pairs like the Wu Tang Dunks, Air Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard” and Undefeated Jordan 4 already so hotly anticipated, the slate is only getting deeper and more eye-catching. A sequel to the Fragment Design x Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG is reportedly in the works for Fall 2025.

As is customary at this stage, no specific color-blocking is confirmed, but a palette of “Sail/Black/Muslin/Military Blue” is. In initial reactions, many have referenced a sample pair worn by Fragment Design founder Hiroshi Fujiwara closer to the release of the original edition. Though in the images he shared, that pair only wore a slight hit of black on the tongue, neutral tones were rampant throughout the shoe’s design. It remains a possibility that this 2025 version will match or iterate on that foundation. Crucially, that shoe carried through alternating colors on the Swooshes, with deep blue on the reversed medial side and off-white on the lateral.

It almost goes without saying, but uniting two of the Swoosh’s most important collaborators of all time, even for a sequel, should elicit sky-high demand once again. For La Flame’s end of things, this slides into a stacked calendar of releases he personally has on tap, adding to the Air Jordan 1 Low “Pink Pack” and Jordan 1 Low “Velvet Brown” as well as a slew of drops for his signature Zoom Field Jaxx and Jumpman Jack.

As a final note, full family sizing is expected for this monumental release.
