The Nike Air Max Dn Channels The “Gold Bullet”

With the March 2024 rollout of the Air Max Dn centered around simple, essential colorways, it was only a matter of time before we’d see Nike bring more compelling, intriguing designs.

While the “Dn” name produces a connection to the Air Max Plus (Tn for OGs), famed Air Max 97 colorways have also translated onto the new model. Supreme popped out with a Friends & Family “Silver Bullet” colorway before the shoe’s formal Air Max Day debut, and now lo and behold, the “Gold Bullet” theme appears on a new mainline offering.

Much like the “Gold Bullet” 97, a take on the model’s original colorway, the Air Max Dn comes coated in “Metallic Gold” here. While the top portion opts for a solid shade, the mudguard provides some sheen with a brushed metallic material. Clear Air units take to a white midsole, decorated sparsely by Air Max Dn branding, while the center portion of the outsole provides another splash of gold. Surely it wouldn’t have been a task to include a red mini Swoosh in accordance with the AM97 colorway, but the midfoot branding presents in gold on this pair. Red accents actually do appear on the outsole, but such is standard for the model.

Pairs are currently expected to touch down in Fall 2024 for $160, although Nike hasn’t floated a firm drop date at the time of this writing. Know that our Sneaker Release Dates page will be kept current with all the latest available information.
