We’ve said it before, we’ll surely say it again: Nike is amid a full court press for the Paris Olympics. As mainline offerings far and wide take to French motifs, the Nike SB Dunk has been more than willing to take on the challenge, already bearing a rich history of expressive, theme-heavy colorways. First revealed at the end of May, official images just landed of the third stop in the Paris tour, the Nike SB Dunk Low “City of Cinema.”

Distressed suede is the primary material choice, providing a sienna foundation with lightened splotches throughout. Crushed velvet adds some elevated touches at the collar and heel tab, switching between burgundy tonality on the tongue and deep royal blue in that rearmost section.

On the insoles, the storytelling aspects are laid rather bare, revamping the Nike SB emblem in Art Deco typeface and displaying the interior of a classic theatre, replete with comedy & tragedy masks & tasseled curtains. Importantly, the stripe of darkened dye on the midsole is entirely missing, confirming the arrangement we saw in the latest batch of in-hand images compared to the sample photos when this shoe was first unveiled.

The Nike SB Dunk Low “City Of Cinema” drops this Holiday season, currently set for a December 14th release with a $125 retail price. While there’s a long layoff before these drop, you can get an advance look via the gallery embedded below.
