First Look At The Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement” 2024 Retro

One of the most highly anticipated releases of 2024, the Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement,” just surfaced via new images posted by @xcsnkr.

The upper features the same black leather, elephant print, and red accents consumers know and love, but there’s a slight change to the midsole. Much like other modern retros, Jordan Brand paints the rear portion in “Sail” to communicate a vintage, naturally aged feel. It’s a decision that’s been met with more backlash than praise in recent years, perhaps because it’s been played out or maybe because it makes retros look less like their true, original designs.

One of four original Jordan 3 colorways released in 1988, the “Black Cement” has retro’d several times over the past three decades, most recently (and most notably) in 2018. That pair, which dropped during All-Star Weekend, is regarded as one of the better Jordan shoes of the modern era in terms of quality.

Just as we saw with the Jordan 4 “Bred Reimagined” and “Military Blue,” the 2024 Jordan 3 “Black Cement” is expected to release in massive quantities according to @zsneakerheadz, meaning interested consumers should have little trouble copping pairs.

The shoes are currently scheduled to release November 23rd, 2024 for $220. Stick with us while we provide more detailed coverage upon the arrival of official images in the coming months.
