Andrew Rizzo The New Balance 1906R has probably ousted the 2002R as the most sought-after New Balance tech-runner of the moment, but neither are falling off sneakerhead’s radar any time soon. Just as we welcome the onset of summer, the Boston brand readies a five-pack of monochromatic suede New Balance 2002R colorways for July 2024.
The materials and color blocking are consistent across the delivery, with each pair coming coated in color and suede overlays. Even the forefoot panels and New Balance logos, traditionally crafted from leather and reflective material, respectively, opt for suede so as to maintain a cohesive aesthetic. Contemporary tones play a big role on Grey, Brown, and Butter Yellow options, while separate Blue and Green pairs stand out just a tad more. All in all; agreeable colors, breathable mesh, and an abundance of styles makes for a welcome delivery as sneakerheads round out their warm weather rotations.
