Aimé Leon Dore And New Balance Just Dropped An Unexpected Collaboration

ALD ventures onto the pitch for the first time.

Aimé Leon Dore And New Balance Just Dropped An Unexpected Collaboration

With dozens of pairs in their shared catalog, Aimé Leon Dore-New Balance remains one of the sturdiest collaborative relationships in the business. However, we largely know what to expect from their output, tonal, lifestyle shoes that either highlight a spotlight model for NB or bring one back from the archives. That established pattern makes their latest link-up one of the most eyebrow-raising in recent memory, uniting on the New Balance Furon 7 Pro FG Cleats.

As you can probably glean from the model’s name, the Furon 7 is the latest & greatest soccer cleat from the Boston brand. The silhouette’s greatest strengths are a wide strike zone and lightweight Hypoknit technology, the latter making for a breezy on-pitch ride. Despite the change in form, the classic ALD aesthetics live on in this collab effort. Their trademark green & gold drape the branding across the full shoe, especially noteworthy as the metallic shade fades onto the upper with the slightest of gradients at the toe.

The Aimé Leon Dore New Balance Furon Pro FG V7+ is available now via the ALD site, retailing for $250 (click here to land directly there.) Sizes are already selling out, so act quick if you want to pick up a pair of these collab performance kicks. Should you strike out, a wider release via NewBalance.com is set for June 28th.
