After much anticipation, two-time Thrasher Skater of the Year and NYC native Tyshawn Jones is finally set to release his next signature shoe.

While the Tyshawn II shares design language with the Tyshawn I, its best examined as a new silhouette entirely. Right off the bat you see a layered, low-top construction akin to that of any number of adidas Originals. Leather panels span the full length of the base, decorated by stripes branding and “Tyshawn” text at the quarter, while a puffy tongue hosts a trefoil logo up top. Steering focus to the shoe’s performance benefits, the Tyshawn II comes with a perforated toebox, dual-layered toe cap, and LIGHTSTRIKE midsole, delivering a breathable, durable, and lightweight wear. Skaters reported difficulty breaking in the Tyshawn I upon its release in 2019, so we’re hopeful adidas and co. addressed such matters in this next version. Campaign images showcase a “White/Black” colorway and all-black monotone pair, honing in on essential looks to mark the model’s rollout.
