Matt Varga The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 is inescapable at this point, widely adopted for its tech runner stylings and comfort-minded daily driver appeal. Though men’s and women’s colorways made the shoe an easily accessible for those demographics, the kids have been left out entirely (save for the Doernbecher 2023 collection.). Nike is set to change that this season, as we’ve received official images of the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 in three GS colorways.
While the silhouette obviously has to be shrunk down to befit this new demographic, there aren’t many hardware changes beyond that in the GS version. The primary one is the addition of a pull tab at the heel, a functional tweak to help the little guys slip in and slip out easier. The three colorways that have emerged so far all stick pretty close to the traditional Vomero 5 formula, all relying on neutral shades either in tonal or metallic applications. While the grey pairs share resemblance to plenty of men’s editions previously released, the “Khaki” edition seems to be a 1-to-1 transfer of the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Sail” that first debuted in 2023.
No concrete release date or retail price has been set for the GS Nike Zoom Vomero 5. As GR Nike releases, however, we can expect them materializing on Nike.com and local shelves in the coming weeks. Get a closer look at at all three pairs via individual galleries below.
