The adidas Crazy 8 Pay Homage To Kobe’s Dodgers

The LA franchise's signature tones are front and center.

The adidas Crazy 8 Pay Homage To Kobe’s Dodgers

While Protro releases out of Nike have taken most of the coverage as far as Kobe shoes recently, the Mamba’s legacy continues to influence things at adidas as well. With the adidas Crazy 8 starting its newest mainline run in Fall ’23, we’re continuing to get new Kobe inspired looks for his first signature, including the latest Dodgers themed affair.

Almost immediately after arriving in LA, Bryant began a relationship with the Dodgers that’d stretch beyond his time as a Laker, from recording free agent pitches to sitting in the stands at the World Series. Given that sturdy connection, it was only a matter of time before his MLB affinities made their way to the adidas Crazy 8. Inspired by their gray road jerseys, muted neutral suede dominates this pair. Signature LAD blue radiates out from the tongue across Three Stripes branding that continues through the midsole, while the adidas spell-out logo at the rear is clad in red.

This adidas Crazy 8 drops March 31st, carrying a $150 price for adult sizing and $120 for kids sizing. Ahead you’ll find official images, with the Grade School pair depicted.

Elsewhere for the Three Stripes, the adidas Yeezy Slide “Flax” releases March 20th.
