UCLA Gold & Blue Drapes The Nike Cortez

A collegiate look for this women's release.

UCLA Gold & Blue Drapes The Nike Cortez

The Nike Cortez has become a staple of springtime fits everywhere over its both 50 year run, and its second wind as retro styles have become inescapable. Leaning into that vintage charisma, the latest Nike Cortez in “Gold/Royal Blue” is decidedly West Coast in evoking signature California colors.

The two tone interplay between the UCLA/LA Chargers shades chiefly takes place on the canvas and suede body. “Royal Blue” takes up the leather Swoosh and back tab, while “Gold” does the heavy lifting on everything else, from the toe cap to rear Nike branding. The remaining details, be it the sock liner, the midsole or the tongue are clad in a traditional black & white formulation that enhance their longstanding classic appeal.

As of right now, no release date has been set for the Nike Cortez “Gold/Royal Blue.” However, we do know they’ll arrive at $90 retail in women’s sizing.

As we near the start of spring, another big vintage drop is just weeks away. Head to our story on the A Ma Maniere Jordan Air Ship for raffle and release information.
