Importantly, a wider release through NB channels never occurred for either pair, and while nothing is confirmed just yet, this move could be signalling that one is around the corner in some capacity. As of writing, no new movement occurred for the silver & blue edition, and given that shoe only released via KITH Women, it remains more likely than not that their March launch will remain that pair’s only release. Updated March 7th, 2024: Kith has officially announced both of their New Balance 1906R collaborations for Spring 2024. The first execution sees a soft assortment of pastel tones, elevated by cream, silver, and golden accents. The second pair opts for a contrasting black base, itself enhanced by copper gold and burgundy red. Both pairs will launch globally on March 11th, 2024 exclusively at Kith through all of its digital channels and in-store locations. The white pair will launch exclusively at the Kith Women flagship on March 8th.
New Balance collaborations continue to maintain their pole positions in the landscape of must-have sneaker drops thanks to recent unveilings by Kith and Joe Freshgoods. The former officially presents its New Balance 1906R collaboration for the first time in a sharp look-book focused on women, with an early exclusive drop at their Kith Women location leading the way.
Opting for a Spring/Summer friendly palette, Kith decorates its 1906R with light silvers and gold treatment on the overlay above a clean white mesh base, complemented by hits of a dusty pinkish beige and pastel blue on the exterior heel cage. The popular cream-colored off-white appears just on the medial midsole, while a yellow gold appears via the exposed mid-foot plate. The same blue and pink comprises the heel cushioning unit to match the upper.
Kith will first launch the shoes exclusively in-store on March 8th at the Kith Women flagship store on Broadway and Bleecker in New York City. The in-app drawing for the release also begins on March 8th, with the official global release marked for March 11th online and in-store at all Kith shops. A wider newbalance.com release has not yet been confirmed.
