The Nike SB Vertebrae continues to surface in new rollout colorways, joining the Nyjah 3 and Ishod 2 among the banner’s slate of new offerings as we delve deeper into 2024. Adding to a selection that includes “Summit White” and “University Red” treatments is a new “Team Red” iteration complete with a monotone upper and sail-tinted midsole.

All Vertebrae models to date have featured the same material composition, with suede paneling on the toe and heel bordering a rib cage-inspired quarter. Small perforations on the toe add breathability through sturdy materials, while the shoe’s cupped sole unit adds improved stability when compared with traditional flat-footed skate offerings. This particular colorway as well as the build of the model itself lends itself to both high intensity skating and casual wear, further championing the design process behind the aforementioned Nike Ishod 2 in an effort to win over a larger body of sneakerheads.

The “Team Red” Nike SB Vertebrae should make its way to SB retailers within the coming weeks, but no word on a wider Nike.com release has been mentioned thus far. In the meantime, enjoy official images below and return to our Sneaker Release Dates page for more.
