The Nike Air Force 1 Low Brings “White/Orange” To Updated Model

The Nike Air Force 1 Low has been rolled out in more than 2000 styles over their lifespan. Though that sheer quantity hasn’t impacted the streetwear appeal of the iconic shoe, it does often necessitate the need for some changes in the margins to keep things new and exciting. Like on the upcoming “White/Orange/Grey” Air Force 1, where the model returns to its traditional colorblocking on the slightly updated variation we’ve seen over the past few years.

The Nike Air Force 1 Shadow, Wild and Utility lines from recent years stand out the most overt attempts at bringing a revitalized sense of energy to the sneaker. Though this AF1 does not carry a distinct title in its branding, it is functionally a variation on the classic model.

Importantly, a few of those aforementioned offshoot lines actually inform the design choices made here. The mesh anterior panel and the pull tab right behind the sock liner are taken from or at least inspired by the AF1 Utility. Both these and the Shadow carry a double swoosh motif, though instituted a tad differently: the former lays one on top of the other, while on this “new” AF1 it pops up towards the toe box.

On a pair like this, where the color choices are conservative, all of those structural elements are left to stand out on their own. For what it’s worth, the addition of orange on that smaller swoosh and through the branding as a whole does add a necessary bit of pop to the otherwise grayscale sneaker.

No concrete release details has been confirmed for this pair, but a price point has- expect the “White/Orange/Grey” AF1 to retail for $115. In lieu of a specific date, anticipate these making their way to the Nike website and stores near you in the coming weeks.

Elsewhere for the sneaker giant, the Nike Air Max Plus emerged in two brand new colorways purple & red.
