Olive Tones Dominate The New “Dark Army” New Balance 9060

The sepia shaded pair of the New Balance 9060 is set for release on February 5th.

Olive Tones Dominate The New “Dark Army” New Balance 9060

Following a strong 2023 for the model, the New Balance 9060 is back- this time in a “Dark Army” colorway set for general release.

Perhaps overshadowed by the steady stream of 990 and 550 releases from the Boston brand, the New Balance 9060 has emerged as a true staple of the imprint’s offerings since making their entrance at the top of 2022. The canvas has been equally suited for collaborations (notably, a few choice DTLR New Balance 9060 link-ups) and wide-release editions during that time.

Now, the 9060’s newest colorway takes a literal ground-level approach. Rife with every shade of earth tones, Dark Army and Dark Olive takes to the suede and mesh upper, while Sandstone provides a bit of contrast on the sole and slight accenting throughout the shoe. While there’s certainly still plenty of streetwear appeal on these, the more muted palette of this pair leans towards the understated, functional side of the New Balance catalog while still maintaining the audacious design of the 9060 as a whole.

Carrying a price tag of $150, the “Dark Army” New Balance 9060 will be releasing on February 5th. Follow the links below for more details on where exactly to get your hands on a pair.
