“Barely Volt” Bubbles Cushion This Nike VaporMax 2023 FlyKnit

Ready for spring.

“Barely Volt” Bubbles Cushion This Nike VaporMax 2023 FlyKnit

As the year winds down, the Nike VaporMax 2023 FlyKnit is presumably prepping its last ensembles before being replaced by 2024’s equivalent.

Ahead of the holiday season, however, the future-thinking design has dressed up in a handful of styles that suggest it’ll at least be around until Spring 2024. The latest offering from the Swoosh updates the sneaker’s breathable FlyKnit upper (which is at the center of a recent lawsuit against both New Balance and Sketchers) in a “Light Olive” hue. Darker shades of the fall-friendly color appears in the form of profile swooshes, as well as synthetic reinforcement at the tip of the toe and around the lower heel. The eyebrow-raising Nike VaporMax unit underfoot deviates from the upper, preferring a much bolder “Barely Volt” makeover. Together, the breathable top-half and plush bottom create a futuristic take on Tinker Hatfield’s Air Max revolution from 1987.

Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead, and anticipate a nike.com launch soon. The VaporMax 2023 FlyKnit is priced at $210 USD.
