At the tail end of June, we heard word that Nike would be relaunching The Kobe Brand later this August. And while much of what said collection will entail is still very much a mystery, it appears we can expect to see a very special colorway of the Air Force 1 that’s dedicated to the Black Mamba himself.
Confirmed by notable leakers @zsneakerheadz and @sneakerfiles, the upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Low “Kobe” will arrive in a Lakers-inspired colorway comprised of “White,” “Varsity Maize,” and “Varsity Purple.” Though the exact color blocking and design have yet to be revealed, it’s possible the pair could bear some resemblance to the GS-exclusive release that landed back in 2009 (Pictured Above). In addition to sporting the aforementioned team’s signatures, the shoe will reportedly incorporate Kobe’s logo and jersey number along its lateral side and tongues, respectively.
The upcoming Nike Air Force 1 “Kobe Bryant” is expected to release during the Summer 2024 season. More details and photos are likely to surface leading up to the release, so sit tight and stay tuned for further updates.
