The ASICS GEL-NYC Dresses In An Opposing “Black/Ivory” Outfit

Introduced as a dual effort between ASICS and Awake NY, the GEL-NYC extends an amalgamation of design cues from the brand’s Gel-cushioned line for a contemporary lifestyle offering infused with retro aesthetics. Following its debut last December, the relatively reserved silhouette now embarks on a striking greyscale composition.

Preferring an opposing mix of hues from the Awake NY collaborative collection, the latest release sees its “Ivory” base layer contrasted by brushed silver metallic overlays and a darker suede mid-foot logo. The surrounding pitch-dark panels further indulge in the worn tooling along the mudguard and quarter with jet-black clarity while the split “Clay Grey” and cream midsole injects a lightened touch to the monochrome-dominant ensemble underfoot.

The ASCICS GEL-NYC “Black/Ivory” is scheduled to release later this July for a retail price of $130. In the meantime, enjoy a detailed look at the pair below.

In other news, the Air Jordan 38 “Center Star” is scheduled to release on September 25th.
