Updated May 19th, 2023:
adidas has officially announced release information for upcoming adidas Yeezy footwear beginning on May 31st. In addition to Kanye West being given 15% of the profits in commission, a portion of the profits will go towards the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the Philonise & Keeta Floyd Institute for Social Change.
According to adidas CEO Bjørn Gulden” After careful consideration, we have decided to begin releasing some of the remaining adidas YEEZY products. Selling and donating was the preferred option among all organizations and stakeholders we spoke to.”
Since terminating the YEEZY partnership in October, adidas has been exploring multiple scenarios for the potential use of the existing YEEZY inventory. The process involved seeking feedback and listening to a diverse group of employees, organizations, communities, and consumers for how to responsibly manage the existing product. The company went ahead with already committed production orders after the partnership was terminated. This was done to help protect its supply chain partners from being negatively affected by cancellations.

Mere days after it was officially announced that Ye had agreed to terms with adidas to sell off existing Yeezy stock, it seems that the Yeezy brand is ready to take its first steps towards executing its release plans for 2023.
Earlier today, the adidas India site posted an image revealing a slew of adidas Yeezy footwear from the past, including the Yeezy 350 “Pirate Black”, Zebra 350s, Utility Black 500s, the Yeezy Foam Runner and Yeezy Slides in several styles, and much more beginning on June 1st. No specific release dates for each drop has been revealed, although it is likely that they will release on a staggered schedule through the summer months. In addition to the restocks, we can expect brand new adidas Yeezy styles that have not been introduced before.
According to the agreement, the remaining adidas Yeezy footwear that had already been produced would be sold at retail, with the one formerly known as Ye receiving 15% of the commission. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds will be donated in support of the fight against discrimination, hate, racism, and anti-semitism.
adidas India has since taken the photo down, but this information aligns with the recent surfacing of the Zebra 350s and Utility Black 500s across adidas UK/Europe.
