Compared to that of JJJJound and Aime Leon Dore, Junya Watanabe‘s collaborative work with New Balance rarely ever receives much attention. The same is true of the designer’s latest, another trio of 574s, as it’s suddenly and quietly made its way to select Japanese retailers.
Similar to Junya Watanabe’s previous New Balance offerings, these 574s are constructed with materials befitting their high, premium price tag. Luxe suedes, which could pass for velvet at a glance, are used throughout the entirety of the shoe, brushed in one of three different colors: Black, Dark Camo, and Incense. And though distinct in this respect, all three pairs do resemble one another in their cream accents and eYe branding.
For a closer look at all three colorways, see below. Currently, it’s unknown whether or not we’ll be seeing a release stateside. For now, sit tight — and if you’d rather not wait, there are several proxy services that could help you out.
