Nike Accessorizes This Sporty Air Force 1 With Hot Pink

A recent look at the Dunk Low revealed an experimental take on the classic model. Now, Nike’s directing its focus on its fellow 1980s brother in the Air Force 1 Low, adding a patch-work of unique materials and a set of accessories to give the silhouette a new identity.

The upper shape is consistent to the Air Force 1 Low, but an eclectic mix of surfaces achieve a patchwork-style aesthetic. It starts with basic flat leather, but jersey mesh, ballistic nylon, and crinkled leather have been welded together to achieve the classic overlay of the AF1. Add to that a lace dubrae, oval tongue logo, and a chain link tag at the heel in a bright hot pink, with a hit of Miami teal on the tail-end of the Swoosh on the medial side.

This Air Force 1 definitely brings in a distinct uniqueness to the Air Force 1 Low, and we suspect this treatment on other NSW classics such as the Blazer and possibly newer options like the Air Max Pre-Day and more. See the official images ahead and stay tuned for a release on Nike.com.
