Nike Adds The Air Max Plus To Its Growing “Graffiti” Collection

Nike Adds The Air Max Plus To Its Growing “Graffiti” Collection

A year away from celebrating its 25th anniversary, the Nike Air Max Plus has recently seen an explosion in colorways. In addition to compelling styles in line with its debut gradient looks, Sean McDowell’s 1998 design has recently appeared laden with graffiti-reminiscent text as have other Nike Sportswear models.

Constructed from most of the same materials as the design’s debut proposition, the upcoming pair features a vibrant mix of orange, yellow, green and blue across its mesh base layer. TPU accents throughout the upper’s length deviate in a glossy black finish, which also lands on the reinforcement at the tip of the toe and scale-laden mudguards along the profiles. Branding and Air Max units opt for tonal citrus flair, while whale tail-shaped mid-foot shanks revert to a summer-ready blue. Lastly, the majority of the performance-informed tread underfoot favors a muted black look, though certain accents bring some of the upper’s blue and orange flavor to the Air Max Plus‘ underside.

No firm Nike.com release details have been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change as summer inches closer. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the pair ahead.

Elsewhere under the Swoosh umbrella, the Nike Dunk Low is expected to arrive in several new styles soon.
