This Nike Air Max 90 Simplifies The “Sun Club” Formula

“Sun Club” isn’t just about the playful colors and imagery. Simpler variations, too, have been revealed as of late, such as this newly-surfaced iteration of the Air Max 90.

Sustainability is what’s most on display, as both this pair and the pairs before it swap out the usual materials for part-recycled ones. This is evident across the sole as well as the textile base, which are speckled and woven in a way unique from previous Air Max 90s. And compared to the rest of the “Sun Club” collection, the colorway shines a greater spotlight on simplicity, as it forgoes the smiling sun and vibrant pastels. There are, however, callouts to the pack along the tongue and heel tab as well as a unique bamboo-shaped dubrae.
