An All-White Nike Dunk High With Eastern Influence And Woven Tongues Appear

An All-White Nike Dunk High With Eastern Influence And Woven Tongues Appear

Despite being headquartered in the USA, Nike often finds themselves enamored with East Asian culture, celebrating its nuance with shoes like the Dunk Low “Street Hawker” and the ISPA Drifter. Here, atop this upcoming Dunk High, these inspirations come to a head yet again, though this time the brand opts for an homage far more subtle.

The upper is rendered entirely in white, with texture making up for what the pair lacks in color. Smooth leather fixtures are used throughout the base of the shoe, which is then overlaid along the eye stays, toe, and Swoosh with tumbled panels. And in between, the tongue instead weaves the same material, creating a look akin to traditional craft. Star-shaped perforations and Chinese characters (which roughly translates to “Pick Up” or “10”) sign off the pair at the forefoot and heel, respectively, the latter of which matches the same symbol seen along the insole.

Enjoy a close-up look at these below and sit tight for not only official images but also further release details.
