JJJJound Swaps Grey With Green For Their Latest New Balance 990v3

JJJJound Swaps Grey With Green For Their Latest New Balance 990v3

JJJJound, now a collaborative powerhouse with droves of minimalist fans, effectively made New Balance cool in 2018 as they dressed up the iconic 990v3. Today, the shoe sits well above the four figure mark, something their subsequent collaborations have yet to do. However, that may change very soon as the Montreal-based studio is returning to the silhouette, replacing its greys with a brighter ensemble of greens.

The latter tone, which is far brighter than what was employed on the 992, outfits both suede and mesh panels alike. A darker shade is used for the leather trims, subtly accenting the toe box and collar. At the side, the “N” logo is clad in a deep black, matching that of the lining and tread. Silver hits common among GRs also make an appearance, cast atop the back sole, tongue, and the “JJJJound” branded heel tab. Finally, a brief display of cream arrives by way of the laces and the midsole, whose addition serves as a more explicit nod to its predecessor.
